Immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of the globally renowned Margaret River region, a land renowned for its idyllic vineyards and pristine natural forests. Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your Perth city accommodation, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey.
As we depart Perth city, you'll pass by iconic landmarks like the famous Swan Bell Tower, Elizabeth Quay, Kings Park, Narrows bridges and the famous and historic Swan River, before venturing south through the charming southern suburbs, of Perth and major townships of Mandurah the canal city & West Australia's most famous Tourist town and historic Bunbury. The road leads to Busselton, home to the Southern Hemisphere's longest wooden jetty, a historic gem that has been a hub of activity for decades and now stands as a must-visit tourist attraction.
At the historic jetty, you'll have the opportunity to soak in the history and beauty of this remarkable structure. Built over 150 years ago using wood and for export of local produce from the region and import of goods from far regions, the jetty was extended and built as its importance to trade increased. Its is a beautiful sight to behold and perfect for some amazing photo shots
Then, we head southwest to Yallingup, where the option to explore the magnificent Ngilgi Cave awaits. Stalagmites and stalactites have been forming in this ancient cave for over a million years, making it a true wonder of nature. Dive into the cave's rich ecosystem, the history, and folklore at your own pace.
The journey continues through the vast forests, offering serene moments amidst towering trees before arriving in Margaret River township. Here, you'll explore the picturesque town, stroll along the charming main street, and relish beautiful river views from the nearby bridge.
A delectable local lunch is a treat for the senses (at your own expense), while on a visit to the Margaret River township.
The Margaret River Chocolate Factory is a sweet finale, featuring free chocolate samples and captivating chocolate-making demonstrations. You may purchase mouth watering delicacies to carry back home.
Winding through the lush vineyards and giant forest trees, you'll encounter the essence of the region. A visit to a local winery for wine tastings marks the end of your extraordinary journey.
Heading back to Perth Your tour concludes either at your accommodation or another location within Perth CBD and Northbridge.
