Day 1: Perth – Mandurah, Bunbury town, coast & Dolphin Centre Tree Top Walk, Greens Pool- Albany:
Embark on a captivating journey through the pristine landscapes of Western Australia, departing at the delightful hour of 7:30 a.m. from your comfortable Perth city accommodation. Your adventure begins in air-conditioned luxury, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable ride throughout the day.
As we set out, you'll witness the charming southern townships of Kwinana and Rockingham, painting a picturesque scene before your eyes. Our first stop is the coastal gem of Mandurah, where you'll have the opportunity for a brief respite and the chance to admire the tranquil canals and the bustling township as we continue our southbound journey.
Next, we arrive at the bustling hub of Bunbury, where you'll be treated to a tour of the town, complete with a visit to the iconic lighthouse and a panoramic lookout point. The Port area will also enchant you with its maritime allure. But the true highlight awaits at the famous Dolphin Discovery Centre, where you'll delve into the incredible work carried out by specialists in the world of dolphins.
Our adventure continues as we travel further south, through the enchanting Karri Forest and the historic Timber logging area of Manjimup. After this captivating journey, it's time for a well-deserved lunch break, where you can savour the flavours of the region (at your own cost).
We then journey onward to the enchanting town of Walpole, where ancient growth forests await. The crown jewel of our day is the world-renowned Valley of the Giants, offering a truly unique experience. Walk among the giants of the forest on the Tree Top Walk, a mesmerizing canopy boardwalk suspended 40 meters above the forest floor. It's a testament to human engineering and harmony with nature, allowing you to explore the ancient Tingle Forest without disturbing its pristine beauty.
Our adventure takes us to Denmark township, where you'll be awestruck by the awe-inspiring granite formations known as Elephant Rocks. Day 2: Albany, The Gap, Natural Bridge, Amity Brig, Mount Romance & Esperance:
Embark on a remarkable journey through Western Australia, where breathtaking natural beauty and historical treasures await. Our adventure begins with a drive to the summit of Mt Clarence, offering awe-inspiring mountain top views that will leave you speechless. Gaze out over the vast expanse of King George Sound, admire the distant outer islands, and take in the charming sights of Albany Township below.
Next, we head to the Frenchman's Bay, a coastal wonderland where you'll be treated to the rugged beauty of the Natural Bridge and The Gap. These natural formations provide a stunning backdrop for panoramic ocean views in Frenchman’s Bay, where you can't help but be captivated by the mesmerizing roar of the waves crashing against the rocks, experienced from the safety of the walkway.
Our journey continues as we drive through the historic Albany township. Here, you'll encounter the unique Dog Rock natural formation, a fantastic spot for a memorable photo opportunity. Your adventure through history unfolds as you step aboard the Amity Brig, a meticulously crafted replica of a European ship. Gain firsthand insight into the life of sailors centuries ago, making this a truly immersive experience.
We then set our course towards Esperance, traversing through the majestic Stirling Range of mountains. As we head southeast, you'll be treated to the breathtaking landscapes of the National Park and the surrounding countryside, making for an unforgettable and picturesque drive.
By late afternoon, we arrive at Esperance, the jewel of the south. Here, you'll find a welcoming haven for your overnight stay. Esperance's charm and beauty are sure to captivate your heart, making your stay an absolute delight.

Day 3: Esperance -Cape Le Grand National Park, Lucky Bay, Stonehenge of the South & Agricultural Museum:
Awaken to a new day filled with excitement and adventure in Esperance, as we embark on a journey that promises to be a day of extraordinary experiences. Following a delicious breakfast (at your own expense) and a well-deserved rest, we set out to explore the charming Esperance township, where you'll immerse yourself in the local country town atmosphere.
Our next destination is the pristine wonderland of Cape Le Grand National Park, an expansive and untamed countryside just waiting to be discovered. Here, you'll encounter the Stonehenge of the South (entry fee not included), a captivating replica of the original Stonehenge in Britain, with a history as fascinating as the original. Capture the moment with a photo shoot and be amazed by this modern marvel created by local farmers and skilled technicians.
As we venture deeper into the park, you'll find yourself at Lucky Bay, a place of unparalleled beauty. Pristine white sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters create a scene that is nothing short of breathtaking. Whether you choose to relax, take a leisurely stroll, or play along the sunny shores of Lucky Bay, you'll be captivated by the tranquillity of this unique location. Keep an eye out for kangaroos on the beach or the possibility of dolphins and whales frolicking in the clear waters during their season.
Our journey continues as we leave the national park, embarking on a picturesque drive along the Great Ocean Road. Along the way, we'll make stops at Twilight Cove and Blue Haven beaches, offering stunning coastal views. Discover an old Windmill Farm and Pink Lake, where the water boasts a captivating pink hue. Please note that the colour of the lake can vary throughout the year, but the sight is truly remarkable regardless. Gaze out at the vast expanse of the Southern Ocean, a view that will leave you in awe.
Upon returning to Esperance town, take a leisurely stroll on the Esplanade, capturing memories of the picturesque port and the award-winning Whale tale sculpture, as well as the charming architecture at the roundabouts. Alternatively, visit the Esperance Agriculture Museum, a treasure trove of old farming machinery and other historical artifacts from the region. A small entry fee grants you access to this captivating museum.
The evening provides a perfect opportunity to shop, explore, or simply relax before dinner, which you can savour at your own expense. Retire for the night at Esperance, knowing that you've experienced a day filled with natural wonders, cultural discoveries, and unforgettable moments.
Day 4: Esperance –Hyden– Kondinin -Corrigin - Brookton - Perth:
As the sun rises and breakfast (at your own expense) awaits, we set out on an enchanting journey towards Hyden, an adventure that will unveil the remarkable landscapes of the Great Southern region. Heading west, you'll be immersed in the vast wheat and sheep farming regions, offering a glimpse into traditional Aussie farm life. Marvel at the expansive farmlands, observe the machinery that sustains these communities, and meander through charming, small wheatbelt towns along the way.
Our destination is Hyden, where you'll encounter a geological marvel like no other: the ancient Wave Rock. This incredible rock formation, over 2 million years old, resembles a massive ocean wave frozen in time amid the desert landscape. Adorned with colourful etchings, it's a sight to behold. For the adventurous at heart, there's even an opportunity to climb to the top of Wave Rock, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Our journey continues as we visit Hippo's Yawn, an intriguing collection of rocks uniquely shaped to resemble the wide-open mouth of an African Hippopotamus. This geological wonder adds another layer of fascination to our adventure.
On our way back to Perth, we'll pass through the charming townships of Kondinin and Corrigin, offering a glimpse of rural life and the welcoming communities that make this region special. Our next stop takes us to the Dog Cemetery, a touching tribute to the loyal canine companions of local farmers. In the lives of rural farmers, Australian dogs play an invaluable role, becoming integral parts of the family. They assist in herding cattle, stand guard, and accompany farmers in their daily tasks.
As we pass by Brookton, known for its fruit-growing region, we make our way back to Perth, bringing with us a treasure trove of wonderful memories from the captivating southern part of Western Australia. This journey has been a remarkable exploration of nature, history, and the enduring bond between humans and their furry friends.
