Day 1: Perth to Kalbarri
Head north out of perth & begin your journey with a visit to Yanchep National Park, where you’ll encounter a rich variety of wildlife, including kangaroos, koalas, and vibrant native bird species. Stroll through this serene natural environment and immerse yourself in the beauty of Australia’s unique flora and fauna.
Continue north through charming coastal towns, starting with Lancelin, known for its towering white sand dunes and pristine beaches. Drive through Cervantes and Jurien Bay, where the turquoise waters and stunning coastal scenery provide perfect photo opportunities. Pass by the historic Greenough Flats, where leaning trees shaped by strong coastal winds offer a fascinating sight, and drive through Dongara, known as the “Rock Lobster Capital.”
Arrive in Geraldton, a bustling coastal city, and take a guided tour of its highlights, including the vibrant waterfront and historical landmarks like the port, main street and historic St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, HMAS and Art Gallery. Day 2: Kalbarri to Monkey Mia
