What we are doing

Our Own Measures

We understand that people may have concerns about travelling in charter vehicles during this time. We can assure you that as well as following the Australian Government Department of Health’s (https://www.health.gov.au/) advice, Aussie Perth Tours has put its own measures in place, including additional cleaning measures.

We believe we have robust contingency measures in place to ensure continuity of service in the case of the further spread of COVID-19.

Aussie Perth Tours will continue to monitor Australian Government Department of Health’s  (https://www.health.gov.au/) advice closely and stands ready to make necessary changes to help protect our passengers, employees and our drivers.

Personal prevention practices:

To provide ongoing support to our its employees, Aussie Perth Tours will continue to follow medical advice in terms of precautions and mitigation measures as advised by the Public Transport Authority and relevant health authorities. Employees also have a duty of care to support the Company’s OHS&E objectives and are required to implement personal prevention practices as outlined below:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (or use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser) after going to the bathroom, before eating and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Cover any coughs or sneezes with a tissue or your inner elbow, and throw your tissue in the bin immediately afterwards
  • Maintain social distancing (at least 1m) from anyone who is coughing or sneezing

Bus cleaning procedures:

All our vehicles are vigorously cleaned prior to being used on any of our jobs, with extra attention being shown to high contact areas.

We continue to offer a full service to all passengers and customers for your group transport requirements during the period.

In line with Australian Government advice, we have a clear set of guidelines around managing the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and protecting our people, passengers, and drivers, whilst we maintain service continuity. This policy has been updated following the Australian Government’s announcement on the 31st March 2020 of additional measures to manage the spread of COVID-19 but may be subject to amendment.
